iPad pro 2017!

Next year in march Apple will most likely release their new iPads, dubbed iPad pro 2 (12.9 inch and 7.9 inch). iPads are in a little bit of a weird kind of state right now so I thought I would suggest a few things I would like to see in the next generation of the iPad.

1. processor

The Apple A10 fusion chip is already the fastest SoC on the planet right now but there have been some leaked benchmarks showing that the new iPad pro will have the A10 Fusion X chip which dishes out a score of 4500 single core and 6500 multicore. Now to put that into perspective the intel core i7 has a single core speed of 4000. The new iPad pros are going to be FAST.

2. 3D touch

For me to upgrade the iPad I have now, I really need the iPad to have 3D touch. 3D touch is very useful once you get to know what its like and I really wish Apple puts them into their iPads next year.

3. Resolution bump

The iPads already have really good screens on them, but in particular the 12.9 inch one, it would be amazing if it went up to a 4k from a 3k because that means you can watch Netflix at full resolution. The only problem will be the battery life.

4. Support for more pro apps. I think for apple to be able to call their iPads a pro device, they need to seriously introduce some pro apps. For example, if you do work on Microsoft word, excel and presentation then sure you can actually use the iPad for work but if you're a creator you need something more. The power is there, just not the support.

So here are 4 reasons what Apple needs to change with their new iPads that are coming out next year. With all that said I still hope Apple will wow us next year with some sort of new technology. Their innovation is starting to decrease and until the ten year anniversary iPhone, I hope they innovate with their iPads too.
