Edge Screens!

So lately there has been a lot of rumours that the new iPhone will have an edge screen and also maybe even the Huawei p10 might have it as well. So I thought I would talk to you about my thoughts on edge screens. Typically edge screens are thought to be a cool feature with a few impracticalities but here we go.

The good:

Its extremely cool when you look at it from the front as it looks as though the phone has no bezels and thats the whole reason why its cool. Samsung offers some effects such as edge functions where you can swipe to show some short cuts but I don't really see it as a key feature.

The bad:

Well for starters if you drop the phone on its side there is a high chance it will crack but you can't really do much about that. Also its extremely hard to have a protective case on as well. Also if the phone doesn't have palm rejection it will be so annoying to use with one hand.

Overall the edge screen is very cool. I hope to see it on the next iPhone and the p10. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Thanks for reading!
