The Xiaomi mi Mix thoughts!

The giant chinese company has made another yet interesting product called the xiamoi mi mix. For here I will call it the mix. The mix has a 6.4 inch screen and it is pretty much bezel-less. The screen is a 1080p screen which is fine but for a 6.4 inch screen maybe a 1440p screen would have been better. It has a 4400 mAh battery which is needed for its size.

The phone itself is a pretty normal android phone on paper but the screen is everything about it. The Mix is bezel less and it is so pretty. Its not sold outside of china and importing it can cost but I'm also fairly sure its sold out as well. And no wonder why, because I haven't seen anything as interesting as the Mix in a while now. Maybe the last time a company made an ambitious product like this was when sony released their first ever 4k screen smartphone. That phone was really interesting.

There are some trade offs that are being made here though. For example, there is no ear piece at the top so it uses vibrations through the top of the phone but it never is loud enough which is a bummer. Plus the front facing camera is at the bottom of the phone which is kind of dumb to be honest.

All in all its an interesting take of smartphones but no, its not going to be the best seller all around the world. Its a cool thing but thats it. So what are your thoughts on the MIX? Let me know in the comments below! For now, thanks for reading!
