3 Things the 12 inch MacBook needs!

I love my 12 inch MacBook a lot. Many people that haven't used it don't like the fact that it only has the intel core m3, m5, or m7 version, and the fact that it only has one usb type c port. I can see why this can set some people back because this laptop I'm using right now is definitely not a power house. Except this laptop is not supposed to be in that genre, its supposed to be the ultra light, and portable, yet capable laptop. And yes, it definitely is. This laptop is really good but it does have a few things that need to be ironed out. Still this MacBook does need some improvements in some areas. So here are 3 ways the 12 inch MacBook can improve.

1. Speed

I understand why apple went with the intel m series. First of all its fan less so it doesn't make a sound which is great, but also because of its power efficiency. A small laptop will need to have small batteries so you can't shove a intel core i7 in there and expect the thing to last a full day. This laptop has great battery life as long as you don't over clock the processor by video editing or anything heavy like that. Still I do see some frame drops and a little lag at times. In the future when they refresh this line up I'm sure they will have an even more capable processor with more battery efficiency so the speed part will get better. They might even use their own silicon chips they have in the iPhones and iPads in the future as well.

2. Camera

This laptop has a 480p unacceptable camera. The camera is so bad that I don't have Skype on this laptop for a reason. In the future they'll probably replace it with maybe a 720p camera but honestly, 480p in 2015 (The year it was released) is a shocker and it at least had to be 720p.

3. ports

As I said in my review, I don't actually mind the fact that it only has one port because I never use it except for charging it. I only use the adaptor when I back up my iPhone but thats maybe once every 2 months, and I use a bluetooth mouse as well. Still, I can understand why people would like to see more ports so maybe in the future they will get rid of the headphone jack on the right hand side and replace it with a type c port. I will be fine with that, and if theres another port on the other side it'll mean like the new MacBook pros I can charge it from both sides.
