Apple Watch Review!
The apple watch took the industry by storm and it has raised many opinions about it. This is bound to happen when you sell one product to a million of users. So now that the novelty of the Apple watch has worn off, I have a few things to say about it. I'll conclude my review in design, software, and battery life.
Firstly, design. I like the look of the Apple watch, but it definitely doesn't look like a watch. It looks more like a piece of technology which is what it is so I have no problem with that. I think the speakers on the Apple watch can be a little bit better because unless you're in a quiet room its very hard to hear it. Also you can't play music through it for obvious reasons. The screen on the Apple watch is very good though. Its sharp and bright enough to see in sun light.
The digital crown is pretty nice, its useful as well. The real crown though, goes to the side button though. That button is very useful to go into your dock where you have the apps you always have in the background.
So the dock leads me to the software experience but I'll keep this short because I've already talked about WatchOS 3 before in a different article. WatchOS 3 has a lot more to improve on but all in all its a really good interface. One thing I wish the apple watch could do is have 3rd party watch faces but I guess that'll come out later on.
So thirdly, battery life. The battery life on the Apple watch is good but can be better. On moderate use I end the day with about 30% to 40%. Thats pretty good but if I start checking twitter, BBC, and other third party apps constantly then it goes down pretty quick.
So overall, I think the Apple watch is about a 6/10. The last four will be filled in in the next 3 or 4 years and the watch will definitely get better over the years. Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
