New MacBook Pro's!!

This morning Apple released their new MacBook pro's and there was a ton of upgrade to it. Mainly they had 2 significant changes, which were the design, and the internal specs. So lets start with the design.

The new MacBook pro's come in 2 colours, silver and space grey. There are 2 13inch models one that has new features and the other that has the internal upgrades but missing a few key features. There is also the beastly 15 inch model as well. They very much resemble the 12 inch retina MacBook only a little thicker and heavier and the shape of isn't a wedge but that being said, they are so thin and light for what they had for offer. The 13inch comes at 3 pounds and the 15inch comes at 4 pounds. Just amazing.

However the dimensions isn't the most impressive at all. The function key has completely been replaced by an OLED touch bar. This touch bar as they demonstrated on the keynote can adapt to the app that is being used. So if you're in safari, it will show you your tabs and also have other functionality as well. In final cut pro x it has other features such as the ability to scroll through the whole video and etc. The possibilities are immense and its open to third party applications as well. Not only that it is also customisable by the user. The touch bar has the potential to literally change the way we interact with out laptops.

So now the specs of it. The new MacBook pros are absolute beasts. For the mainstream consumers I think the 13 inch MacBook pros are just fine. They have strong enough processors to handle day to day usage. The story changes with the 15inch MacBook Pro's. It has 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, with 8MB shared L3 cache (Configurable to 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz, with 8MB shared L3 cache), 512gb of SSD storage but also configurable up to 2TB, 16gb of DDR3 memory, Radeon Pro 455 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching (With only an additional $100 you can upgrade it to 4gb), with 4 thunderbolt 3 (USB type C) connectors.

I was hoping for them to use some Kaby Lake processors but they must've thought they should use the processor that is going to be more accessible. This Laptop is a power house, and it is going to go through the roof with its benchmark results.

So what are your thoughts on the MacBook Pro 2016? Let me know what you think in the comments down below but for now, thanks for reading!
