3 things not so great about the google pixel phones!

Yesterday google announced their pixel phones and I shared 3 great things about the pixel phones. That being said those phones are definitely not perfect, so here are 3 things that are no so hot about the google pixel phones.

1. That chin.

I think its fair to say that the google pixel phones definitely look like an iPhone with the home button moved to the back. That sort of results in a phone with a massive chin at the bottom. This could be because they wanted to make it symmetrical on the top and bottom, but either way this design has been causing some controversy. At the end of the day, its personal preference.

2. Feature-less

When it comes to android phones, because there are so many others companies that sell android phones, there are some features you need to put into your phone just to tick all the boxes to even start the competition. Things such as wireless charging, micro sd card expansion, and maybe water proofing. The pixel phones don't have micro sd card expansion, doesn't have wireless charging, and doesn't have any water proofing. When you put them next to phones like the s7, well its a tough fight for the pixel phones.

3. price tag

This is the biggest downside of these phones. It costs $650 for the normal size, and $750 for the bigger brother. Nexus phones were once known for their competitive specs for a low cost, and the nexus 6p was an excellent phone for the price tag of $499. Well with the pixel variants google throughout the nexus motto and their trying to compete with manufactures like Apple and Samsung with the premium price tag. Looking at the youtube comments of various videos it seems like the price tag is what irritates everyone. Well at the end of the day, we will have to wait and see if the new pixel phones are actually good enough to compete with the iPhone 7 and Samsung galaxy s7's. Only time will tell.

So what are your thoughts on the pixel phones? Leave a comment below, but for now thanks for reading!
